Ever since I was four- years of age, I have desired teaching. I really believe that education
is the major for me. Taking Education 2130 has really helped me grow as a person. It has helped me mentally
and emotionally. Mentally it has helped me understand the different concepts of teaching students and understanding the feelings
of students. Emotionally, it has helped me understand that every student is not going to like me or enjoy me.There
is no such thing as a perfect teacher, but their such thing as a effective teacher. Being able to understand your
own learning style as a teacher, makes it easier so that you can understand the learning styles of students in your class.
Knowledge that I have learned from this this class was is how to understand the differences of every student. Being able to
accept students for who they are is very important. I also learned not to judge students based on personality or family background.
This class has helped me realize that education is really what I want to do for my career. During this semester I have
learned that their are ways to motivate students, their are ways to discipline students and there are ways to make learning
fun. The activities I have done in the class have benefited me tremendously. I'am looking forward to teaching and
using the concepts that I have learned.
